Vintage Motorola California Mobile Car Brick Phone Picture(s) and Description:
This auction is for a Motorola "California Mobile Phone" car phone from the 1980's. I believe this is a fairly early example of a "brick" style mobile phone. The cord has a little damage to the casing in two spots and the antenna is missing the tip and has a crack in the casing as well. I plugged it into the lighter in my car and it powered up with a single tone and the screen read "No Srvc." I have not tested it any further than that so it is being sold as-is with no returns. It weighs about 1 1/2 lbs. Low minimum bid, no reserve!!
