Stamp on bottom of phone says Apr 1972 SC500D. Standout color! This guy is in really good condition for its age. I did plug it in and check it for dialtone. Was able to dial and answer calls flawlessly. I had forgotten how LOUD these phones ring. Please ask any questions if any before you bid. I am not a telephone technician and cannot give technical advice, but will do my best to answer any questions you have. I have only 1 telephone in this brand and color and as you can see from the picture, it is in nice shape and pretty clean for having been in storage. A little polish would shine it up nicely! Not just anybody has one of these anymore, let alone in this color. Nice Piece!
