Up for bid an AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC AE34 - this one is quite sharp. It has a cloth handset cord, the line cord has 2 wires of questionable integrity, so I was unable to test. Everything else looks pretty good. Rubber surrounding base shows some wear but remains intact. No chips or cracks to handset or body - material is bakelite. As can be seen, the dial is sparkling, in great shape. All side vents are intact with no cracks. This makes a very nice display piece, and with the addition of a new line cord, the possibility exists that it could be made into a fully functioning unit. Bidding starts a 98 cents, with No Reserve. Shipping/Handling will be $14.95 to anywhere in continental U.S. On Jan-29-12 at 16:54:59 PST, seller added the following information: there is a bit of fraying to handset cord where it connects to body, it does not harm inner wires
