1930′s Wooden Phone Booth w/ Working Original Phone Picture(s) and Description:

Way cool 1930's wooden phone booth with working original phone. This phone was built for the Bell System by Western Electric. It has the mouth piece on the base unit and the ear piece hangs in the cradle on the side of the phone. The original coin slots are on top of the phone. The phone electronics have been updated to work with your current phone line. Calls can be made and received with no problem. The light inside the booth is activated when the doors are closed. The doors have beveled glass. The booth has a corner seat and a brass "TELEPHONE" sign on the front, both of which are original. The wood is mahogany and has a few scratches and minor blemishes. The booth is very solid and in much better condition than one would expect for it's age. The interior walls are stamped tin. This would make a great focal piece for a restaurant, bar, hotel or family game room. The item is sold as is where is. Shipping is not available due to the size and weight.
